By monitoring customers' prior check cashing activity and validating identity, Certegy allows merchants to cash payroll checks quickly and safely. (This services requires separate POS device and program to verify the SSN.) PayCheck Accept matches the consumer's social security number with name to confirm their identity by tapping into the most comprehensive driver's license database and MICR database for authenticating state-issued licenses and checking account information. PayCheck Accept will prevent authorization when consumer ID is associated with previously returned and unpaid obligations.
